New construction moves
Fresh paint and new floors mean we take extra care with door frame padding and floor runners on a Maize move into new construction. The goal is for the house to look as new after we leave as it did when the keys were handed over.
Builders sometimes push closing dates later than planned, so we try to stay flexible on scheduling when a Maize closing date shifts.
Furniture delivery to new homes
New homes often mean new furniture arriving at the same time as the move itself. We coordinate delivery and assembly so a dining set or a bedroom set is built and in place before the first night in the house.
If pieces are coming from more than one store, we can often combine the deliveries into one trip to save on scheduling.
Older Maize neighborhoods
Not every Maize address is new construction. The town's older residential streets have their own narrower driveways and mature trees, and we scope those jobs with the same care as any older Wichita neighborhood.
A quick look at photos of the driveway and street ahead of time helps us bring the right size truck rather than one that cannot turn in.
Local moves in and out of Maize
Moves between Maize and Wichita, Goddard, or the rest of the metro are billed as local jobs by the hour. The same crew loads and unloads, and the short distance means the truck rarely needs more than one trip.
Assembly requests on the northwest side
A steady share of our Maize work is assembly on its own, especially in homes where furniture was ordered ahead of a closing date and arrived before the family did. We build it, check it for wobble, and haul the packaging away.
Office furniture is common here too, with more people setting up a home office in a spare bedroom of a newly built Maize house. Desks, filing cabinets, and shelving units usually all arrive within the same week and get built in one visit.
