Where the furniture comes from
We pick up from furniture stores, warehouse pallets, and private sellers just as often. If a listing is a couch sitting in a Maize driveway or a dining set at a Goddard estate sale, send us the address and we will handle the rest.
Some deliveries are simple, a single item straight to your door. Others involve multiple stops in one afternoon, which we can usually route together to save on the trip.
Getting it through the door
Measuring matters more than people expect. A sectional that looked fine in a showroom can stall at a narrow hallway turn or a low stairwell landing in an older Wichita home.
We ask for doorway and hallway measurements ahead of time on anything large, and on tricky pieces we will remove legs or cushions rather than force a corner.
If the piece genuinely will not fit through a standard door, we say so before the truck ever leaves, not after it is halfway up the stairs.
Delivery to apartments and second floors
A lot of our delivery work goes to apartments in and around Wichita where the only way up is a stairwell. We bring furniture straps and dollies built for stairs, not just a hand truck meant for flat ground.
If the building has an elevator, we ask about size limits and booking windows ahead of time so the piece is not standing in a lobby waiting on a reservation.
Same day and scheduled delivery
Some deliveries need to happen the same day, especially a secondhand purchase where the seller wants it gone quickly. We can usually fit those in with a bit of notice.
For furniture ordered ahead of a move in date, we can schedule the delivery for the exact day you get keys, so there is no gap sitting on a box spring on the floor.
